Mission Statement

I believe that all voices should be heard, and have their chance to have their stories told. I believe that as game designers, we should always be improving ourselves, working to correct our mistakes, and committing ourselves to quality above all else.

About Me

My name is Kent Anderson-Brettell, and I am a game designer with a strong focus on narrative design, game writing, and level design. I am currently completing my 4th and final year as a game design student at Sheridan College's Honours Bachelor of Game Design program. I truly and deeply believe that a strong core narrative can hook and entice a player to experience a game, even in a genre that they would normally have no interest in.

Beyond my passion for games, I have a deep and abiding passion for nature. So much so I spent several years getting my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a second major in Indigenous Studies. It was time well spent, since I can now use those years of study to help me craft more realistic and believable settings for my games in the future.

Beyond writing and working on personal game projects, I enjoy building plastic models in my spare time. It's a hobby that I can do to relax and keep my hands occupied, and the end results always look fantastic.

I also bake a mean cake, and I enjoy experimenting with new recipes whenever I get the chance. I have recently begun making my own custom blends of hot chocolate, which is actually a lot harder than it sounds.
